ACADEMIC INFORMATION

There are three broad departments instituted at both the Boarding and Day Secondary Schools as follows:

1.       Department of Arts
English Language, Literature-in-English, Government, Islamic Religious Knowledge, Christian Religious Knowledge, Economics, Igbo, Yoruba, French and Social Studies.

2.       Department of Science
Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Agricultural Science, Integrated Science, Further Mathematics and Geography.

3.       Department of Vocational Studies
Home Economics, Fine and Applied Arts, Food and Nutrition, Technical Drawing, Introductory Technology, Accounts Commerce, Computer Studies, Music, Business Studies, Physical and Health Education.

To effectively teach those subjects, the two schools are fitted with fully equipped:

1. Biology Laboratories
2. Chemistry Laboratories
3. Physics Laboratories
4. Fine Art Studios
5. Home Economics Rooms
6. Computer Rooms fitted with internet facilities.
7. Introtech workshops
8. Language Laboratories
9. Libraries

Academic activities take 70% of our time and resources while 30% is devoted to other activities.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

BOARDING SCHOOL
There are four major Clubs at the Boarding School. These include:

1. The Literary, Debating and Press Club
2. Cultural and Drama Club
3. Jets Club
4. Home Makers Club

Apart from clubbing activities, staff and students enjoy a retinue of functions. The students organize social parties to celebrate the end of every term while the staff annual end of year party serves as relaxation for both academic and non academic staff.

The various Clubs have designated weeks during the academic session when students exhibit their psychomotor skills in the various subjects.
