It has been observed that the demand for university education abroad by Nigerians is on the ascendancy. The reasons for this development has been adduced to the difficulty (often outright denial) they encounter in their effort to secure admission through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) into the Nigerian Universities to study their dream courses.
It is also indeed obvious that JAMB cannot cope with the ever increasing number of applicants seeking admission into Nigerian Universities. In addition to admission problems, the issue of inccessant strikes by Nigerian University staff, low morale amongst the Academia, issues related to cultism etc. have made many Nigerian parents to lose confidence in our University system. |
